Kalabash - what exactly is that? It's derived from the word Calabash, which is a fruit, grown for human consumption, but also the skin can be dried out and used as a container, bottle or gourd. In Sub-Saharan Africa the San people use the Calabash to carry water. We feel that this is quite apt for our products, as we provide Gourds for content and knowledge for the Internet

What we do at Kalabsh is create Content Managed Systems or Sites(CMS). We use Drupal as our CMS engine of choice. It is a powerful and robust open source tool that has been around for many years and has earned its stripes.
We at Kalabash develop anything from a basic one page marketing site, through to blogs, product catalogues and e-commerce enabled sites.

One can choose between a number of Templates for the design of your site, or have a totally original design built by one of our affiliate designers.
We take graphic design seriously, so we collaborate with specialist designers for this.
